San Miguel Coffee stands for small town tradition with a top-quality menu and friendly service! Owner Kelly Work’s family goes back five generations in San Luis Obispo County. She’s grown up with an appreciation for her birthplace; its history, wide-open spaces and the work ethic it takes to run a ranch and now her own a business – San Miguel Coffee. With the Work family being stewards of the land, Kelly’s upbringing in cattle ranching and horsemanship taught her that hard work is rewarding. And her customers are responding. San Miguel Coffee is gathering place for locals and a convenient stop for visitors as they tour the Central Coast.
Stop by for fresh brewed coffee from Dark Nectar, our local roaster that also provides the beans for our specialty coffee drinks. Choose from fresh smoothies, breakfast burritos, pastries, sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts. Our prompt service is convenient for breakfast or lunch “to go” or stay a while on our outdoor patio. We’re available for special events and large take-out orders too. And, we are open every day.

Travelers going north and south on Highway 101 are drawn to the charming little town of San Miguel – the home of Mission San Miguel Archángel. San Miguel Coffee is located on the only “main” street in town with easy entry, convenient parking and handicap access. The countryside is vineyards, ranch land and gently sloping hills. You won’t find big, busy stores bustling with shoppers in San Miguel. You’ll discover a peaceful little town with roots traced back to the Salinan Indians and the Mission’s completion in 1797.
Along with the small town charm of San Miguel, our staff welcomes everyone with great service and a friendly smile. We’re happy to guide tourists on their journey through the beautiful Central Coast and get to know our local customers by name!
